Pricing can be a confusing subject, because of image size versus frame size. For example, many stores stock frames that are 16 inches by 20 inches. The print that would fit in this frame would actually be a 13 inch by 17 inch print, allowing for approximately 1 and one half inches of matting around the image. The image can be printed to exactly 16 x 20, but a nice matting job really dresses up any image and is always recommended.

What I’ve done. I’ve listed some of the common frame sizes, and listed the size print I would make for that frame if I was displaying it in a show, in one of the frames that I use. Not all frames or images work best with the same matting dimensions though, so if there is a particular print size you desire, feel free to request it and I can give you a quote. There are certain images that cost more than others, but this at least gives the basic pricing guidelines.

Shipping is not included in any of these prices, because shipping costs different amounts depending on where something is being sent. Also, shipping rates are subject to change. Rolled will be the cheapest, simplest option for shipping. There is the least chance of a print becoming damaged in transit. For larger size prints you will most definitely want the image to be mounted as well as matted, but this can be done by your local framing store. (Unmounted prints tend to sag or wrinkle in the frame.)

All prints are digitally printed on a large format Epson Inkjet printer. The print quality is exceptional. The standard print is on a slightly textured Lustre paper. This keeps the prints from being overly shiny. Tests on print life show that if the prints are kept out of direct sun, the print should last for upwards of 85 years.

Galen Leeds does his own printing, up 24 inches by 36 inches. He is able to size prints as desired, as long as they are this size or smaller.
